The Penny, Horsebit, and Tassle models can be worn with the crew, and no-show socks are, therefore, suitable for summer and winter wear. In the rest of this article, I will show you 2 loafers that are only suitable for casual summer wear.
The Penny, Horsebit, and Tassle models can be worn with an elegant outfit when there is no strict formal dress code. In strictly formal situations, dress shoes are preferable. When the occasion is semi-formal (a typical day at work, informal meetings, and lunches), you can wear the above loafers or the Kiltie model shown in the picture in the next section.
The choice of length of socks you wear with these loafer models is entirely your choice, as both crew and no-show socks fit well. When wearing crew or dress socks, you should pay attention to the choice of sock color. More on this in the following paragraphs.

What socks to wear with loafers in summer?
In summer, it’s best to wear no-show socks with loafers, as this exposes your legs and gives you a semi-formal look. In summer, you can wear loafers with long or short trousers and wear no-show socks to keep you cool in the summer.
We want to wear as little clothing as possible in summer because we always get hot. So wear no-show socks with your loafers, and never wear shoes without socks. If you do not wear loafers made of 100% leather, prolonged wearing and sweating of the foot in the shoe can lead to serious foot infections. This can be avoided by wearing no-show socks to achieve the sockless look, even if you still wear socks. I suggest you read why it is not a good idea to wear shoes without socks.
These are three other trendy loafers – Driving, Kiltie, and Boat. The Kiltie model is suitable for casual and semi-formal outfits and can also be worn with the crew and no-show socks.
