Are expensive undershirts worth it?
Buying more expensive undershirts usually means that you will be buying an undershirt from a well-known brand that makes undershirts. Be careful not to make the mistake of paying a high price for an undershirt just because of the brand. A more expensive and higher quality undershirt should have features that distinguish it from cheaper undershirts.

The prices of the undershirts I compared range from 32.99$ to 38.99$. I compared four of the most recognizable brands that make more expensive undershirts (Thompson Tee, Sloane, Ejis and Its Dri).
Expensive undershirts should absorb sweat very well
The main purpose of an undershirt is to absorb sweat so that it doesn’t transfer to your outer clothing and so that you don’t start to smell like sweat. That is why more expensive undershirts need to absorb sweat well. The underarm area is where we sweat the most, so better quality undershirts have padded underarm areas to absorb sweat better.
The choice of material has a big influence on how absorbent the undershirt is. I recommend natural materials, which absorb sweat better than synthetic materials. The undershirts I have compared are made of premium cotton or micro modal. More about the materials below.
Expensive undershirts are more comfortable
The undershirt is in direct contact with the skin, so it needs to be comfortable and soft, so you don’t feel like you’re wearing it. Cotton is a well-known material used in all types of clothing. A little less well-known is micro modal, which is mainly used for pyjamas and underwear because of its texture.

Expensive undershirts fit the body perfectly
To be comfortable, the undershirt must fit the body well. A tight-fitting undershirt makes you feel more confident because the elasticity hides the parts of the body you would like to cover up (beer belly and man boobs).

Expensive undershirts must be long enough
The undershirt must remain tucked into the trousers at all times and must not come out when walking. This cannot be achieved with undershirts that are the same size as a normal undershirt. Therefore, the undershirt must be longer than a normal shirt, the undershirt must reach to the middle of the buttocks. Expensive undershirts must not be visible through clothing
You can choose a quality undershirt, but if you choose the wrong color of undershirt, the whole look will be ruined. The undershirt should not be visible through the outer garment, nor should it be visible at the collar.
The best color of undershirt you can choose is the color of your skin. The undershirt is usually visible at the edges because a shadow is created, but this will not happen when wearing an undershirt in the color of your skin because there will be no color deviation as there is when wearing a white undershirt.
